Live in London 18/05/19

CTRL was a live only side-project of While Angels Watch dedicated to performing authentic versions of Joy Division songs. In Spring 2019 the band played two farewell concerts at the Amersham Arms in London, which were recorded and released on the CD's 'Warsaw!' and 'Decades' with hand-crafted artwork.

The idea behind 'Warsaw!' was to perform early material in the rough and aggressive way Joy Division played in 1978; while 'Decades' was intended to be more polished, in line with a 1980 era Joy Division concert. In keeping with this principle, Warsaw! is simply the original audience recording with a little EQ-ing while Decades is a mix of two audience recordings and has been professionally mastered.
